Fire sleeve is manufactured from ‘E’ glass fiber yarn knitted to form a sleeve and coated with high-grade silicone.
Fire sleeve is a very flexible sleeving designed to protect wires, cables and hoses from high ambient temperatures. It will offer continuous protection at an operating temperature of 260oc and can with stand a molten metal splash at 1200oc.
High temperature fireSleeve is made of braided e-grade glass fiber sleeve with silicone rubber coating. which designed as a kind of heavy duty jacket to protect different kinds of hoses, wires and cables from the hazards of high heat and occasional flame, sheds molten splash in steel plants, glass plants, foundries, cutting and welding shops. Good Thermal insulation and fire proof performance make our firesleeve reduce heat energy losses and protect employees from burning effectively.
• High flexibility
• Continuous protection at an operating temperature of 260oc
• When exposed to flame the high grade rubber will form a protective SiO2 layer
• Health & safety – provides personnel will protection against burns from hot hoses, steam lines etc.
• Helps to reduce energy loss by retaining heat within pipework
• Excellent flame resistance
• Good abrasion resistance
